Requirements
- Voltage > 40V, current 250A~500A;
- Power source should work at CC mode, with self-adapting voltage;
- No current overshoot;
- Power source output should be turned off when mode change from CC to CV, to protect the tested item.
Solutions
- APM’s high power programmable DC power supply is equipped with CC & CV priority, able for deciding whether the output is on voltage high speed mode or current no overshoot mode. For laser device testing, use CC priority for no-current-overshoot output;
- APM’s power supply equips foldback protection; when testing, the power supply works in CC mode, switched to CV mode automatically when the circuit is break; CC to CV protection: when mode changes, the protection is activated, a warning notice is showed and the output is turned off, the output can be restarted when the warning is released.
