As electric vehicles become more and more popular, their components are required with better quality; testing and certification are necessary if a component manufacturer wants to become supplier of automobile manufacturers. Testing and certification services are therefore needed in relevant industries.

A component supplier can find a third-party institution for test services, modify the products according to the test reports. However, this process could be both time and cost consuming if the test-and-modification works are done repeatedly. Many component suppliers are able to establish their own labs, purchasing test systems able for pre-qualification is thus a good alternative choice for them.

Our wide-range high-power programmable DC power supply (SP-3U/6U series) is capable for high-precision and stable DC output, the power supply is able for electrical characteristics tests on LV123 and VW80300 electric vehicle high-voltage parts. The tests can be applied on high-voltage battery system, inverter, electric air-conditioner compressor, hydraulic pump, DC-DC converter and car charger.
